God commands courage. He also strengthens us in courage. Courage is also consistent with our level of trust and faith in God. We’ll cover scripture and examples of courage in action.
The world is very persuasive and distracting. We will find scripture that specifically talks about God’s promise to guide us and what He tells us to do to initiate this divine leadership.
The “root of bitterness” begins with the seed of hurt feelings. But the Lord models forgiveness for us so that we can do the same for others, stopping the effects of sin in our minds and bodies.
Insecurity will lead us down wrong paths as we seek to find ourselves. Being secure in who God created them to where we will focus our prayers.
“Sometimes man’s rejection is the Lord’s protection.” Finding scripture to help guard our teens’ hearts against this hurtful experience is our offensive weapon.
This silent killer has overtaken our culture but the Lord’s Word is filled with remedies, convictions, and commands that can change our brains and free our teens from this tactic of the enemy.
The power of the tongue is a mighty weapon that has the power to build up or destroy. We’ll focus on scripture that encourages our teens to choose their words wisely.
God has good plans for our teens, even in seasons of drought, and especially in seasons of doubt, it’s important to remember God’s plans for them will not fail even when they can’t see it.
Capable of moving mountains and initiating miracles, signs, and wonders, our teens’ faith is foundational to how they will make decisions for the rest of their lives. May we pray into this area fervently for them.
Our friends are crucial to our walk with the Lord. We will seek discernment for our teens, placement of right people in their lives, and conviction to fall upon them when their friend group needs adjusting.
