So many words are spoken about and over our teens.  From naysayers to doctor diagnoses, our teens can be subject to some pretty sticky labels and we can’t possibly rebuke them all for them!

Knowing who they are in Christ-their true identity– is the rock that will keep them grounded, anchored, and standing firm when someone or something tries to convince them otherwise. 

There’s a song by Unspoken called “What He Says About You” and my daughter and I have a history or blasting it through the car speakers.  My prayer has always been for her to be so secure and confident in who she is in Christ that no words, intentional or unintentional, would be able to sway her.  At the very least, I pray that my prayers are creating a foundation that she can fall back on if the world does get a foothold in her heart at some point. 

This particular topic has many branches.  There isn’t one singular topic on Identity in the Tommy Bible so while this article is not anywhere near inclusive of all the ways you can pray for your teen’s identity, my hope is that it gives you a jumping off point.
